The areas we know, and what we build inside them.
One sector, eight areas and six ways to partner inside them. Whether it is a clinical trial or a wildlife conservation programme, the work is the same.
Where we consult.
Broad by design. Humans, animals, plants, microbes and food are governed by the same biological system, and the partnerships worth building increasingly cross between them.
Pharmaceutics
Drug development, formulation and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Biomedical Engineering
Devices, diagnostics, biomaterials and clinical technology.
Biotechnology
Genomics, bioprocessing and biomanufacturing.
Agriculture
Agri-science, agri-biotechnology and sustainable production.
Food Science & Technology
Food safety, processing, nutrition and supply.
Marine Science & Aquaculture
Fisheries, marine biology and marine bioresources.
Wildlife Conservation
Biodiversity, ecology, animal health and conservation science.
Health Systems
Medicine, nursing, allied health, public health and policy.
And more. If the work is life sciences, it is within scope — the list above describes where we are strongest, not where we stop.
One system,not eight silos.
Antimicrobial resistance does not respect the boundary between an aquaculture pond and a hospital ward. The same sequencing platform reads a pathogen, a patient, a crop and a wild population. Nutrition sits between agriculture and clinical medicine. We build partnerships across those boundaries rather than within them — which is where the funding, the industry interest and the unclaimed ground currently sit.
What we build inside them.
There is no single right way to partner across borders. Choose the model that fits your goals, your market and your appetite for risk — then we build it, and manage it.
Credit & articulation pathways
Articulation, credit transfer and staged pathways such as 2+1, 1+2 and 3+1, which let students earn recognised credit across institutions and borders. We structure the academic mapping, the quality documentation and the student-facing pathway so the arrangement survives contact with both regulators and academic boards.
- Academic mapping — unit-by-unit equivalence and credit load
- Regulatory and quality documentation — for both jurisdictions
- Partner due diligence — accreditation status, cohort quality, financial standing
- Pathway and admissions design — entry points, English requirements, progression rules
Joint & dual delivery
Co-taught, dual and joint programmes delivered with partner faculty — shared curriculum, shared credentials and a clear split of teaching, assessment and quality responsibility. These arrangements fail on governance far more often than on academic content, so that is where we spend the effort.
- Curriculum co-design — and the teaching and assessment split
- Governance and quality assurance — moderation, external examining, review cycles
- Award structuring — joint, dual or nested credentials and their approvals
- Faculty exchange and training — so the partner side can actually deliver
Branch campus
Opening an offshore campus is the start, not the finish. We work with you from feasibility and market fit through the regulatory pathway, approvals and launch, and then stay on the ground through operations so the campus performs rather than simply opens.
- Regulatory approvals — national and state, through to licence
- Legal structuring — entity setup, compliance and ongoing obligations
- Joint venture models — ownership, control and partner selection
- Investment support — capital structure, land and infrastructure partners
- Campus management — operations, staffing and academic delivery on the ground
Research & innovation partnerships
Joint research programmes, translation collaborations and innovation partnerships across pharmaceutics, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, agriculture, food science, marine science and conservation — with institutions, medtech parks, research councils and industry.
- Research partner matching — by capability and track record, not by ranking
- Joint funding strategy — bilateral schemes, national councils and industry co-investment
- IP, contracting and governance — ownership, publication and commercialisation terms
- Translation pathways — into industry, clinical or field deployment
Industry & hospital engagement
Partnerships that connect institutions with employers — placements, live projects, clinical exposure, innovation briefs and graduate pipelines. That means hospital groups, pharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostics and device firms, food processors, the aquaculture industry and conservation bodies.
- Placement and clinical exposure agreements — including capacity and supervision terms
- Live project and internship pipelines — scoped with the employer, not imposed on them
- Industry advisory boards — for curriculum currency and employer buy-in
- Graduate employment pathways — and the employer relationships behind them
Government & enterprise partnerships
Large-scale, institution-wide partnerships with ministries, state governments and public agencies for capacity building, workforce development and skills. These move slowly and reward patience, local presence and a genuine understanding of national priorities.
- Ministry and agency engagement — identifying the right department and the right moment
- Workforce and skills programme design — mapped to stated national priorities
- Scheme and tender navigation — eligibility, submission and compliance
- Consortium building — multi-institution bids and delivery structures
Not sure which fits? Most engagements start as one model and become another. Start a conversation
The same four movements, every time.
We do not arrive with a template. We start with your problem statement, assess the strengths, curate the fit and manage it to the outcome you set.
- Step 01
Understand the problem statement
What you are actually trying to solve — the objective, the constraint and the timeline — before anything is proposed.
- Step 02
Assess the strengths
A detailed assessment of your real capability and standing. Partnerships fail when they are built on what an institution wishes it had.
- Step 03
Curate and finalise
We match those strengths to the right partner from our network, structure the agreement and take it through to signature.
- Step 04
Manage to the outcome
We stay on it after signing and manage the partnership to the outcome you set — delivery, revenue, reputation or reach.
